Cyber craft challenge 27th–29th July

No, I did not win any prizes, but then I am a beginner in cardmaking (and it was the first cyber craft challenge I participated in). Well, and a lot of other members are very talent so the competition was hugh. The 9 challenges all together generated 182 pieces from the members of Pyssel.net . It is a record! The previous cyber craft challenge in June/July generated approx. 115 works. So here are my works.

Challenge no 3 - Paperwork according to specified model.

Challenge no 4. - A piece or a set of jewellery with rock star attitude.

Jewellery was my favourite category, but I did not know much about rock star jewellery other then it includes black and skulls. So I did some reach and looked at music videos with Amy Winehouse. Yeah, she is really a rock star! So this bracelet was inspired by the colours in Winehouse's music videos.

Challenge no 6 - Cardmaking according to specified model and limited to one stamp.

The text "Season's Greetings" was written with Sakura Soufflé pen in powder pink. As you can see on the picture the colour does not display well, so I added some more colour - hot pink with glitter (not seen in the picture).

Challenge no 8 - Optional paperwork with orange & brown.

Orange and brown does not seem to be a very funky combo to me, but surely coffee and orange chocolate cupcake (drawn by me). Take a coffee break! Have a nice day!

Craft challenges

Pyssel.net (Swedish craft site & forum) is arranging a cyber craft challenge this weekend. Deadline was today 7.00 PM. Our hostess Agnelia has arranged nine different challenges in different craft techniques e.g. cardmaking, LO, papercraft and jewellery. I have sent in four pieces; one for jewellery and three in cardmaking and papercraft. All the pieces will be announced in the forum shortly. Looking forward to see what other co-member has been up to this crafty weekend.

More craft shopping

I saw the Panduro advertisement on Monday, but I could not go shopping there until Wednesday since I worked late. Everything was 50 % off at Panduro in Skaerholmen (suburb of Stockholm), since they are moving! Yeah! I bought papers, rubber stamps, ink pads, peel offs, Sakura Souffé pens, 3D colours, brads and ribbon.

Shopping Spree in Helsinki

I was in Helsinki last week to celebrated honey’s birthday. The Finnish craft shop Tiimari was a great attraction for me. I spent plenty of time and money there. I bought mostly papercraft items. Well, but a lot of the stuff that I bought was in sale, so I think it is okay. ;-) This is what I bought: rubber stamps, clear stamps, eyelets, brads and wood decorations.
